October 12th, 1969 in Ypsilanti, Michigan:
Eastern Michigan University student Tom Zarski called Uncle Russ Gibb at a Detroit radio station saying “I want to rap with you about McCartney being dead, whats this all about?”. Zarski claimed that Paul McCarnety was killed November 1966 and the Beatles hired a look-a-like replacement. Zarski claimed to have put together the ‘Paul is Dead’ mystery clues and the ‘Paul is Dead’ story, originating in Ypsilanti, Michigan, went worldwide.
After the Beatles, Paul had two excellent albums: McCartney (1970) and Ram (1971) among a ton of other great projects over the years.
In 1989, Paul McCartney played for a crowd of 350,000+ people in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, the largest paid audience in history.
