Antigua is famous for its irresistible beaches, incredible marine life and breathtaking coral reefs, but one of the best things you can do here takes place off-shore.
D-Boat, a decommissioned oil tanker turned floating water park, is fast becoming one of the most popular must-see attractions in the West Indies.
The party boat is equipped with water trampolines, inflatables, slides, high dives and rope swings. There’s also a bar that serves drool-worthy food and drinks.
There’s tons of activities off the boat, too, like trips to Stingray City, where you can pet and feed Stingrays, as well as to Maiden Island, where you can relax on the beach.
After sunset, the boat occasionally turns into full party mode, hosting parties with live DJs, ladies nights, dinner, and – best of all – an open bar. Unfortunately, the inflatables and amusement park activities are closed during this time.
If that doesn’t sound like a cool enough party boat, celebrities frequently climb on board too. Including the True North’s very own Justin Bieber.
Tickets start at $40 for a 2-hour experience and go all the way up to $110 for a full day experience including open bar, exclusive beach access, snorkeling, free wifi, food and access to the waterpark.
If you’re planning a trip to the West Indies anytime soon, the boat is permanently moored by Maiden Island, just offshore the coast of Antigua.
This may just be everyone’s new favourite all-in-one party spot. You can find more info on D-Boats website here.
