Detroit burlesque troupe, Black Sheep Burlesque, and one of Detroit’s best theatres, Planet Ant Theatre, present ‘Nipflix: A Burlesque Night at the Movies!’
Hosted by Kellie Danger (Kitten von Mitten), the show will feature performances by:
Lushes Lamoan, Veronica Lockhart, Odette Deschain, Ada Vice, Darryn Storm, Tommy Gun, Bebe Rose, Liza M’Shelly, Wendy Wilhelm, Dotty Dart, Fannie Smith, and Marie “X’tasy” Casey.
Planet Ant Theatre’s Ant Hall performance venue has a 6,700 square foot main stage area and the adjacent Ghost Light Bar.
Opened in 1993, Planet Ant Coffeehouse (yes, it started as a humble, little coffeehouse) featured performances by a young Jack White. In 1996, filmmaker Keegan-Michael Key (of Key & Peele) directed shows here.
After the Disney Burlesque show, there will be free live music at Ghost Light Bar (2314 Caniff).
