The Michigan Corrections Organization (MCO) labor union is based in Lansing, Michigan.
The MCO represents roughly 6,000 corrections officers and forensic security assistants working inside Michigan’s prisons and the Center for Forensic Psychiatry (Saline).
MCO also represents the Absconder Recovery Unit (Pontiac) investigators and other Michigan Department of Corrections employees.
MCO has the highest membership density of any state of Michigan employee union.
Every year they have a Bass Tournament that runs from early July to mid August.
