One of New England’s premier summer events and one of the top seafood fests in the country, the annual Maine Lobster Festival is top notch and takes place on beautiful Rockland Harbor.
Lobster is a rich source of copper and selenium and also contains zinc, phosphorus, vitamin B12, magnesium, vitamin E, and a small amount of omega-3 fatty acids.
Lobster Fest features thousands of attendees and over 20,000 tons of fresh lobster.
The famous Crate Race takes place on Sunday. It’s where you have to run across 50 lobster crates on the water.
