Whooo! Now this is an event we love to see!
House of Flavors (c.1948), an old school ice cream parlor in the beautiful city of Ludington, Michigan is going to attempt a Guinness World Record by making the World’s Longest Sundae!
The sundae will be 2,640-feet long, equivalent to a half-mile or eight city blocks! The sundae will be created along Ludington Avenue from Harrison Street to Park Street.
Stats:
- 6,400 people are needed to eat the sundae
- 350 8-foot long tables will be laid out end to end
- 12,700 scoops of ice cream! This equals 760 gallons!
- 800-lbs. of chocolate syrup
- 600 cans of whipped cream
- 2,000 Michigan maraschino cherries
