Have you ever wanted to experience the freedom of shooting an old car up until it explodes? Well, here’s your chance!
The bi-annual Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot in West Point, Kentucky features hundreds of fully-automatic guns, machine guns, tommy guns, grenade launchers, bazookas, M-16’s, belt-fed Vickers, .50 BMG heavy machine guns, etc, for rental.
Over 800 vendors will be selling guns.
Every April and October this multi-day gun shoot and military gun show takes place on 700 acre Knob Creek Gun Range with some 15,000 attendees shooting on the 350 yard outdoor range.
The entry fee is only $15.00 per day plus the gun rentals and purchasing ammo, etc.
Some 300 vendors run gun and equipment booths, there are helicopter rides and you can park for free in the fields on the huge sprawling property.
This event is famous for the special ‘Saturday Night Shoot’ (5pm-10pm) that consists of shooting hundreds of guns at used appliances, old cars, boats, washing machines and using special tracer ammunition to explode fuel-filled barrels (with pyrotechnic charges attached to them), thus creating gigantic mushroom fireballs.
Knob creek is only 30 miles south of Louisville. Bring some friends on the road trip. Get there!
