annual Head of the Charles Regatta!

Started in 1965, the annual Head of the Charles Regatta takes place on the Charles River, which separates Boston from Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Some 11,000 rowers compete every year in a head race.

The race is a time-trial, they’ll be racing against the clock, and tens of thousands of spectators line the banks.

Rowing is a tough sport. You need stamina and a lot of upper body strength.
