Going strong since 1991, the Golden Trailer Awards is an annual award show for film trailers.
The awards also honor the best work in all areas of film and video game marketing, including posters, television advertisements and other media, in 108 categories.
This gala event (which includes a pre- and post-party) is open to the public for a lavish entry price.
In addition to more predictable categories such as Best Drama Trailer, quirky nods include Best Voice Over, Trashiest Trailer, and Golden Fleece (best trailer for the worst movie).
It has been called “the Hollywood Awards show for the post-MTV era” and by its founders as celebrating “the people who condense 120 minutes into a two-minute minor opus.”
