George Clinton, Detroit’s 80-year old Dr. Funkenstein himself, and Parliament Funkadelic will be performing LIVE in Detroit.
Back in 1968, Clinton’s funk band, Parliament Funkadelic, single-handedly launched the funk genre globally.
Fun Fact:
Red Hot Chilli Peppers frontman Anthony Kieids grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and he and George Clinton have been lifelong friends.
Many of the early RHCP albums were recorded at George Clinton’s home in Brooklyn, Michigan!
