Started way back in 1904, the Gasparilla Pirate Festival & Parade, has been going strong in Tampa, Florida.
Hundreds of thousands of people venture out for the festival and parade and to see the Jose Gasparilla pirate ship.
The Severed Hand of Florida Pirate Jose Gaspar Found in Attic!
At 11:30am, the Jose Gasparilla pirate ship laves Hillsborough Bay, sails to the Seldon Channel and at 1pm docks at the Tampa Convention Center.
2pm-5:30pm the Parade of Pirates by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla draws big crowds.
The parade is sponsored by Seminole Hard Rock Tampa.
