Consumers are constantly besieged with advertisements.
The average person is exposed to 5,000 ads per day!
One new type of advertisement, Floating Billboards, have become popular in New York and Florida and elsewhere. They are large, brightly lit advertisements on the water.
In August, the state of New York officially banned floating billboards from all waterways, claiming they are a “dangerous and distracting public nuisance.”
There is talk that the state of Michigan could be next to ban them.
