FLINT, MI — Two iconic hip hop groups from Flint, Michigan are coming together to battle it out lyric by lyric with their songs.
The Dayton Family v.s. Top Authority is set to take place 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at the Dort Federal Event Center, 3501 Lapeer Road, in Flint.
Ira “Bootleg” Dorsey of the Dayton Family said the idea to put on the battle rap-style event stems from wanting to showcase the talent of “two of the best groups to ever come out of Flint.”
