Widely considered perhaps the best NHL goalie of all-time, Dominik Hašek, will be signing autographs at DC Sports inside Lakeside Mall.
The Chicago Blackhawks drafted Dominik Hasek way back in 1983.
However, it wasn’t until after the 1989 Velvet Revolution when Czechoslovakia opened its doors to immigration and overthrew the Communist government that Hasek made his way to the United States.
He played in the NHL from 1990-2011.
Hasek won his first Stanley Cup during his first season in Detroit in 2002. Then he won another cup with the Wings in 2008.
He played 15 seasons, yet won an astounding six Vezina Trophies.
To this day he is the only goalie to win two Hart Trophies.
