The annual Mexican Irish Festival takes place in Southwest Detroit.
It is a FREE celebration of the Southwest Detroit and Corktown neighborhoods, bringing together a pair of vibrant cultures for an all-ages showcase of two dynamic populations and heritages.
The day includes performances of Ballet Folklórico and Irish Step Dancing, ethnic music, food and art, along with activities for kids and more.
Adults can savor a jolt of culture with tequila and whiskey tastings.
