Retired NBA star Bill Laimbeer is signing autographs!
Laimbeer, the rugged big man known for his low-post defense and ability to stretch the floor, was a key member of the Detroit Pistons “Bad Boys” teams that won the franchise’s first two NBA championships in 1988-89 and 1989-90.
Laimbeer was one of the NBA’s most versatile centers throughout the 1980s and into the early 1990s.
A four-time All-Star, Laimbeer averaged 12.9 points and 9.7 rebounds. He shot 49% from the field and 83% from the free-throw line. He also became the 19th player in league history to collect more than 10,000 points and 10,000 rebounds.
