The Jit style originated in Detroit in the early 1970s, with the groups “The Jitterbugs” as well as “The Mad Dancers”.
Since then, the “Jit” has swept the city & the surrounding area off it’s feet. Literally.
This unique form of footwork encompasses many forms of dance, with an edge that only the dancers of Detroit could embody.
