That’s right, folks!
PlayStation 4 is releasing a game called Detroit: Become Human on May 25th.
This game had a $30 million dollar development budget!
The game was developed by French director David Cage and his team at Quantic Dream. Cage directed over 250 actors for the game.
Plot:
The game is a no-holds-barred emotional odyssey of androids in a dystopian future being forced to make difficult choices. Detroit in 2038. What makes humans human?
Sci-fi author Philip K. Dick was definitely a big influence on the games narrative.
“Detroit is a really fascinating place, a great place for industry and creative people,” says Cage, “definitely where the future capitol of AI manufacturing could be.”
Adam Williams was the lead writer on the games 2,000 page script.
