Black Moth Super Rainbow are one of the most unique and talented musical groups of all-time.
Hailing from the Pittsburgh-Allison Park area of Pennsylvania, Black Moth Super Rainbow formed in 2003.
Their music is unclassifiable and unclassifiably good, however, many describe it as fun, unusual, psychedelic electronica.
The group is led by Tobacco (Tom Fec) and includes a rich and varied cast of characters like The Seven Fields of Aphelion (Maureen Boyle), Ryan “Graveface” Manon, Iffernaugt, Pony Driver and Steve SLV.
Tobacco also has his own solo projects and has a huge following. He even recorded a song with Beck!
Seven Fields released her phenomenally talented album ‘Keep The Ocean Inside‘ recently. It’s full of dreamy, ambient synthscapes.
Ryan “Graveface” Manon is from Toledo. He moved to Michigan and in 2000, founded Graveface Records in Temperance, Michigan. Currently, he runs Graveface Records & Curiosities in Savannah, Georgia.
Black Moth is signed to the Rad Cult record label.
Tobacco is signed to Ghostly International. Ghostly was started in Ann Arbor, Michigan by Sam Valenti. They are currently headquartered in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC.
