Clarkston Arts presents the Battle of the Bands / BIG 3 Swing Dance.
Featuring 2024 Champion – Stardusters Big Band vs Eight-time Battle of the Bands winner, Paul King & the Rhythm Society Orchestra. This will be a rematch of epic proportions!
The Stardusters from Clarkston specialize in the elegance of the Big Band Era Swing.
Paul King & the Rhythm Society Orchestra is a 16-piece dance band from Detroit specializes in swing from the mid-1930s to late 1940s. Its sound is influenced by Count Basie and Harry James and has covered top swing venues throughout the Midwest.
All proceeds from this event will go towards the Erin Modrzynski scholarship fund which supports young aspiring artists.
