The annual Bass Pro Shops US Open National Bass Fishing Amateur Team Championships takes place on Michigan’s beautiful Lake St. Clair.
During the event, 250 two-person teams will be fishing for their cut of the $4.3 million guaranteed purse value and chance to qualify for the National Championship and ultimate $1 million prize.
While anglers are competing on the water, the general public is invited to participate in the excitement taking place at Lake St. Clair Metropark with free activities for the whole family beginning at 12 noon.
You can expect to hear live music and free interactive games including inflatable slides for the kids.
Fans can test drive Toyota trucks and SUVs, view the boats and ATVs on display, and learn about fisheries conservation from representatives from the National Fish Habitat Partnership along with food, drink samples from Monster Energy and special activities.
