That’s right, the 2016 Parade of Lights is 2 weeks from Saturday, August 6th on the Clinton River! The route runs from Markley Marina to the Selfridge Bridge where we turn and head out to the mouth of the River and then back to Markley Marine!
Markley Marine has done a great job of resurrecting this event. There are over 15 boats signed up for this year including the Mystic Maiden! It’s not too late to sign up with your boat!!!!!!!!

There are some great cash prizes including a free summer well at Markley Marine!
The Parade of lights also raises money and this year donations will benefit the charity, DAWG (Detroit Animal Welfare Group).
This year’s judges include State Representatives Pete Lucido and Anthony Forlini!
When? Saturday August 6th @ Dusk (of course)
Where? Clinton river
