The AuSable River Canoe Marathon is the USA’s oldest marathon canoe race.
Running the entire length of the AuSable River, which is 120-miles long, this race is the centerpiece of the Triple Crown of Canoe Racing.
The race begins at 3-acre park, Grayling City Park in Grayling and ends at Lake Huron in Oscoda.
Over 10,000 people venture out as spectators and you can rent canoes from Penrods Canoe Livery (100 Maple Street, Grayling). Come check it out!
