Flying cars, a longtime dream of daydreaming gridlocked commuters everywhere, will soon be a thing not of fantasy but of reality.
PAL-V Liberty flying cars will hit the market in 2018. To prepare for this, the company has opened America’s first flying car school in Roosevelt, Utah.
The flying cars will cruise at an astonishing 112mph and there will be a Sport edition for $400,000 or a Limited Pioneer edition for $600,000 to choose from.
PAL-V is based in the Netherlands and until the cars are mass produced, prospective pilots will train on Dutch autogyro gyrocopters. Pilots must log at least 40 hours flight time to qualify for an official license.
