Weather wise you could not have asked for a better weekend or Raft Off 2018! We got out there Friday night and partied with some old friends and made a lot of new ones as well! Big shout to our neighbors the Lake St Clair Boaters who help us get situated! They got a great Facebook group with no drama going on at Lake St Clair Boaters Plus they got some cool looking decals and flags.
The Tiki Barge showed up after dark and entertained the crowd till about 2 in the morning Friday night and was quite the hit with a huge crowd all day Saturday! The Draft UP Raft Up Group and the River Queen group did an amazing job to turn it around from what it was in 2 weeks!
We all seemed to be up bright and early at 7am. I poke my head out the back curtain and the sea of boats coming was just crazy for that early in the morning! This is where all the fun starts watching everyone come in, figure out where they want to be and everyone starts to tie off together!
As always we were parked next to Tiki boat where the glitter line was deep all day long!
By 8 am we could not see the end of either side of the line anymore. It was just a sea of white boats coming in like some wicked Tuna race out to get the best fishing spot but times 1000!
There was every type of inflatable that you could imagine out there and even some you couldn’t
