It’s official. There are pirates in Lake St Clair! With the launch of the JobbieCrew.com Pirate ship yesterday the waters of Lake St Clair are in for a treat this summer. The ship is 34′ long with a 10′ beam. It was constructed using 4 pontoons and is powered by a Mercury 50hp 4 stroke outboard.
When asked how much did it cost the captain replied “Enough that I would be divorced if the wife found out!” The Jobbie Crew, as they call themselves are going to do the unveiling at this years Jobbie Nooner on June 22nd. Asked why he built it the captain replied back “Why not, You only live once and live every day likes it your last!”
In addition to Jobbie Nooner the crew is going to transport it to the Bud Bash in Houghton Lake the first week of August, then back for the Raft Off and finally Jobbie Nooner 2 followed by the Halloween party at Browns to finish up the year.
