The Book Club of Detroit proudly presents:

PETER LEONARD live in-person for one day only!

Peter Leonard is the author-son of famous Detroit crime novelist Elmore Leonard.

Mr. Leonard will speak 6:30-7:30pm at the Stanton Auditorium inside the Detroit Public Library. Afterwards there will be free drinks and free food.

Barnes and Noble booksellers will be on hand at the event. You can purchase Peter’s books at the event for him to sign!

Cost: This event is FREE and open to the general public!!!!!

Parking: park at the Wayne State University employee lot (61 Putnam Street) otherwise there is metered street parking and a variety of nearby parking garages.

Peter Leonard biography:

In 1980, Peter was the founding partner of advertising agency Leonard Mayer & Tocco. For nearly thirty years LM&T created award-winning advertising for Volkswagen of America, Audi of America, Hiram Walker and Pennzoil.

In 2007, Leonard wrote his first novel, Quiver, which he sold to St. Martens Press in a two-book deal.

Since then he has published five more novels: Trust Me, All He Saw Was The Girl, national best-seller, Voices Of The Dead, and the sequel, Back From The Dead.

His seventh novel, Unknown Remains will be published in May 2016. Peter retired from the advertising business in 2009, and now writes fiction full time.

He is the father of four children, and lives in Birmingham with his wife Julie and his dog Sam.
