Michigan State University researches recently received a $750,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to drastically improve Underwater Search-and-Rescue Missions

The goal is to create mixed human-robot dive teams that will effectively integrate human capabilities with robots .

These human-robot collaborations will also include: robotic fish, ROV’s (remotely operated underwater vehicles) and overwater robotic boats
