Michael Vorce: this is what a con-man looks like

Narcissistic sociopath, identity thief and conman, Michael B. Vorce was released from prison on May 13th, 2015. His last known whereabouts was a halfway house in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

He served 7 years of a 12 year sentence at FCI Milan, a federal prison in Michigan, for swindling banks into giving him $25 million dollars in loans for boats that didn’t exist!

Vorce forged documents to trick banks into giving him huge loans for luxury yachts and he did this under the aegis of Saber Marine in Grand Rapids without their knowledge of his years-long scam.

Vorce defrauded 15 banks between 2002-2007. He was finally arrested in August 2007 in Chicago and convicted in November 2008. His jail sentence was eventually reduced because he agreed to become an informant.

He took Macatawa Bank for $9.2mil, Irwin Union Financial in Grandville for $8.6mil, Lake Michigan Credit Union for $4.7mil and several other banks using a complex scheme of bogus collateral and fraudulent titles.

When he was arrested, it was found he owned a 5,000-square foot gated mansion in Alpine Township, a northern suburb of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

This is a good case study in: if something smells fishy about a deal, it usually is. Always trust your instincts and don’t let yourself be manipulated by conmen. They do exist and they will bleed you dry and destroy themselves in the process because they lack the ability to care about anything.

We here at the Jobbie Crew applaud all law enforcement everywhere for the hard work you guys and gals do. And especially for collaring a dipshit chucklehead like Michael Vorce. God Bless you guys!
