Traditionally held the first weekend after Labor Day, HOT BOAT WEEKEND, takes place at Hardy Dam Pond on the Muskegon River located in White Cloud, Michigan.
Hardy Dam is located about 20 miles southwest of Big Rapids, Michigan.
Hardy Dam is a 3,750sq acre earth-filled dam that is 110 feet deep at its deepest point and the entire pond is surrounded by 2,000 campsites.
Sandy Beach Campground is on the west side of Hardy Dam Pond and Newyago State Park is on the east side.
All of this, including Hardy Dam, is located inside the beautiful 538,000 acre Manistee National Forest.

If you want to do some fishing, Hardy Dam has rainbow trout, Chinook salmon, walleye, yellow perch, smallmouth bass and more!
