Located in historic downtown Manistee, Michigan along the riverwalk, the annual Hops & Props craft beer and boat festival pairs Classic Century boats with Michigan craft beer, cider, wine and spirits.
Hops & Props – hops being to a key ingredient in brewing beer and props referring to boat propellers – is a celebration of Michigan-made craft beer as well as the nautical heritage of Manistee.
Michigan has over 250 craft breweries, that alone is reason to celebrate – but Michigan is also home to many craft cider mills, wineries, and distillers. Drink your way through over 100 locally crafted beverages; grab a bite from one of the food trucks; play a game of corn hole; or pull up a lawn chair to relax!
As a Port City, Manistee was a prime location for the Century Boat factory that operated here for over 60 years!
Manistee’s Marina on the Riverwalk will feature an assortment of Classic Century Boats as well as newer styles.
The Century Boat Club show will start at 10 am at the Manistee’s Municipal Marina ending with a boat parade at 4 pm.
This portion of the event is free to the public!
