The cold snap really sent the lake ice levels up last week to 29.5%. While it’s supposed to warm up this week the ice cover is still pretty substantial from this time last year. Last year there was 11% ice cover at this time and 2016 was at 2.3%






  1. At this rate, 2.3% for 2016, 11% for 2017 and 29+% for now, we should be feeling global warming anytime now.
