The annual Freedom Boat Club franchise conference and awards ceremony took place in Cape Coral, FL recently. This three-day event was attended by franchisees from across the country.
The conference concluded with an award ceremony recognizing many franchisees for their performance and contributions over the past year.
The Freedom Boat Club Lake St. Clair team: Steve Dobreff (owner), Wendy Dobreff, Jared Irwin (general manager) won much-deserved recognition for being among the company’s top franchise owners for year to year growth.
In 2016, FBC LSC launched with one location, 4 boats and no members.
In 2020, their membership grew by 333% with the addition of nearly 100 new members. They started the 2020 season with 10 boats and finished with 22 at their two great locations at Lambrecht Marina in Harrison Twp and Sindbad’s on the Detroit River.
The momentum carried over into 2021. They launched a 3rd great location at Safe Harbor Jefferson Beach Marina and opened with 28 boats and have added over 130 new members this year. Nearly 50% of this growth was the result of member referrals.
