Thanks to Strangeandcreepy for this:

With the earth going through significant changes, some brought by humans and others brought by nature itself. There are many locations in the world with hidden secrets.

One of these places is thought to be a lost village of Fabbriche di Careggine.

The city sits at the basin of Lago di Vagli (Lake Vagli), and the remnants of this ancient city haven’t been seen in decades.

Fabbriche di Careggine was a medieval-era Italian village in Tuscany built in 1270.

In 1953 a dam was built in order to use the water for power. However, the dam brought way more than just power to the area. A forgotten village started emerging once the water levels started to decrease. Here were some decades later and the old village is starting to re-emerge again. There have to be some repairs done to the dam so in 2021 the village will be able to be seen in its entirety.

The village is said to be from the 12 or 13th century. It was a living quarter for ironworkers in the area at that time.

Later in 2021 the village will be completely visible, however, there will be some travel restrictions.

Entire Sunken Medieval Village is slowly emerging from Lago di Vagli (Tuscany, Italy)
