That’s right, folks!
100+ years of glorious hydroplane racing on the Detroit River will be celebrated!
The Detroit Hydrofest APBA Gold Cup race started in 1916 and has been going strong ever since.
This is an H1 Unlimited hydroplane boat race on a 2.5-mile course between Belle Isle and Detroit’s Lower Eastside mainland, including two world-famous turns: the Belle Isle Bridge Turn and the Roostertail Turn.
Hydroplanes will be going 200+ miles per hour!
