Roman Fedortsov is a deep sea fisherman in Murmansk, a subarctic port city in the extreme NW of Russia.

Detroit Red Wings hockey player, our beloved Vladimir Konstantinov who played with the Wings from 1989-1997 also hails from Murmansk!

Fedortsov works on a fishing trawler just 2 degrees north of the Arctic Circle in Kola Bay, the Barents Sea, the Murman Coast and the Arctic Ocean.

Fedortsov curates a regularly updated photo gallery of the strange monsters he catches in the waters near his home. They are truly the stuff of nightmares.
