Crime Stoppers of Michigan is a non-profit operating in 7 counties around Detroit.
They have an anonymous tip line for people to call in and anonymously report crimes, the crime tip line 1-800-SPEAK-UP and gives rewards when criminals are caught.
The tournament is chaired by Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham and the event will use all of Boulder Pointe’s three courses – totaling 27 holes – to accommodate over 200 golfers.
Each player pays $200 for 18 holes with cart, bucket of range balls, continental breakfast, lunch at the turn, a buffet dinner and one drink ticket.
Prizes will be awarded to first-place, second-place and third-place, longest drive for men and women, and closest to the pin for men and women.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Crime Stoppers of Michigan’s community outreach programs to educate the public about the organization and its mission.
