Carbon Athletic Club is a private members-only club in Detroit’s Carbon Works neighborhood, near infamous Zug Island.
They’ve been “having fun on the wrong side of the tracks since 1947.”

They will have a 140lb. pig on deck, an all of your BBQ favorites: mac n’ cheese, baked beans, coleslaw + more.

How to join the club:
The Carbon Athletic Club is a members-only clubhouse, but guests of members are welcome. All applicants for membership must be sponsored by active club members. New members are voted in quarterly. Annual dues are $30 ($20 for retirees), and there is a one-time application fee of $20 for applicants seeking membership.
